I’m building a Single Page Application with Symfony and am considering using the APIC module (Symfony 3.4).
I am trying to understand how to implement the ‘global’ sessions using APIC module.
I’ve read about how to use the Symfony standard session and I understand where it stores the data, but I would like to know if the APIC module creates its own sessions.
Can I use those sessions for a Single Page Application?


APIC has different sessions by default:

The main session is used to store information between requests.
The request session is used to store information on the current request only (such as the current route name).
The session is used to store information about current user.

However, when you import a module such as FOSUserBundle (with FOSRestBundle too) the APIC session doesn’t contain the FOS user session and the current user session. To ensure that you’ll be able to authenticate a user in your application, you will need to create a new session, using the FOSUserBundle or FOSRestBundle instead of the APIC session.
The only session created with APIC is the one for the current user and it is called APIC.user.session.


How can you have variable controls with the same name?

I have some forms that have a variable number of controls that share the same name – I have to control this in javascript or jquery so I can tell which form I am manipulating and this:

After compiling with Visual Studio 2017, the generated executable crashes my computer

I have a project that works perfectly in Visual Studio 2015 and.NET Framework 4.5.2.
The problem is that after compiling with VS 2017 my computer crashes when the program is run. How can I fix that?


Installing Visual Studio 2017 on Windows 10 1809 fixed the problem. Unfortunately the Windows 10 1809 release has a bug that it needs some more time to be fixed.
