What’s New in the NCH LogIt!?
Logit! is a unique professional time-saving application for Apple Macintosh computers. It is an audio recorder that automatically detects and saves the audio in your computer’s sound files. This lets you avoid the cumbersome task of moving your media files to a specific folder, or hunting through your hard disk to find the broadcast file.
The media files are stored in the standard Macintosh sound card.aiff file format or the standard media player.wav file format. These are the common audio file formats known to the Macintosh computer. LogIt! works with any audio player that can playback.aiff or.wav files.
You can either run the application in constant mode, where it will record the sounds that occur between the preset start and end times, or set it to record a specific time interval (its own duration time) or save a time-period of up to 14 days.
You can also choose to have it leave a sound file for up to 10 seconds at the end of the recording. For convenience, a menu item is also provided. For more information, please see www.nchsoftware.com.
To use, in the “Application” folder of your hard disk, you will find the LogIt! application file (its name is “LogIt!.app”). You will need to install this application file (located in the “Application” folder of the “LogIt!” application program) as well. You may then launch the LogIt! application from the “Applications” folder. You can then start and stop the application, choose time periods, start record sessions or save the recordings. LogIt! will list all of your recordings.
Note:When you start the application for the first time, it will ask you to make some changes to your sound files. These changes are necessary for LogIt! to work correctly.
To record radio broadcasts, the radio station’s broadcast frequency can be entered from the setup menu to be used as the starting frequency for the recording.
To log conferences, the microphone’s frequency can also be entered from the setup menu to be used as the starting frequency for the recording.
This could also be used to log an external sound source.
LogIt! comes with an extensive help file that can be accessed by using the “Help” menu. You can also launch the LogIt! help window from the help menu.
After launching LogIt! for the first time, the time window will be set to the initial time you enter into the application. You
