DESCRIPTION:SAWG member Benjamin Hoffman will host the topic of worldbuilding\, which is one of the three key pillars of story construction. What is a world? What is a character’s relationship to their world? Do characters exist outside of their environment? \nJoin us on December 5th as we discuss the worldbuilding process. We will discuss how a character’s environment shapes who they are and how plot is informed by worldbuilding choices. Worldbuilding is not just for far out science fiction and fantasy worlds\, worldbuilding is integral to even the most mundane settings. \n\nWe will have a virtual link for SAWG members.\nWe will also have the winners of our last contest read their winning microfiction!
